Life in Leadership recognises that career planning is as important to those near the pinnacle of a successful career as it is for those starting out. The challenge of organising work that is less demanding while at the same time rewarding and fulfilling is not always easy for high achievers.
We have designed a specific program for the new generation of leaders who can choose how and when they formally retire. Working with individuals, couples or in a group setting we discuss, in detail, the complex choices presented at this stage in life to help individuals proactively decide on their own path, to get the most out of life, and be truly fulfilled.
There are three key aspects to this work:
• What remains unfinished, and what needs to happen for you to complete and consolidate your career?
• What will your legacy be?
• What have you always wanted to do and not had the time or inclination to complete? Are there any areas you have simply overlooked so far?
Late career planning is about letting go and reaching out to other activities and other people. It is about becoming more fully who you can be, both in completing your career and opening new doors to the future.
